Dreams Study Group

April 15, 2024 @ 7:00 pm9:00 pm

Dream Study Group

The Dream Study Group meets monthly to facilitate understanding of the types of dreams we have and what they may tell us about ourselves, both individually and collectively. Participants are encouraged to maintain a dream journal as we develop techniques for working with dreams. Over time, most categories of dreams will be discussed from the literature, as well as through personal experience, with particular attention to shared, precognitive and clairvoyant psychic (PSI) dreaming.

The DSG meets the third Monday of each month.

Do you want feedback on your dream?

You are the owner and expert of your dream. The Dream Studies Group is interactive and the attendees often share their impressions of your dream by describing how they would understand your dream if it were their own dream. You can apply what seems to help.

If you want to share your own dream with the group, here is how you can prepare and what you can expect from the group:

  • Give your dream a title
  • Write the dream in present tense
  • Do not share any background information before reading the dream
  • Slowly read your dream out loud to the group, the same way twice
  • Say what emotion, if any, you felt after your dream
  • After your reading we may ask questions to clarify what you have read
  • We preface feedback with “If this were my dream…” or “In my version of the dream…”
  • If you want, you are welcome to give feedback after the discussion
  • This group is completely confidential. No information should be repeated outside of the group, and there are no recordings allowed
